In 2007, Steiger’s ministry, “No Longer Music” took the Gospel message to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Iceland and Germany. Hundreds of secular and Muslim young people came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The ministry of No Longer Music is really about one thing: transformation. For more than 20 years, No Longer Music has literally seen thousands of young people all over the world radically transformed by the power of the gospel. 2007 was no exception:

Merlin, a Muslim man in Kyrgyzstan whose wife recently left him, stumbled upon our concert in a drunken mess. After the concert, Luke - NLM’s drummer - offered to pray with Merlin and the power of Jesus fell on him so strongly that he became completely sober. Merlin then began to share the pain and despair that he felt in his life, but then recognized that the power of Jesus was real and committed his life to Jesus.

Mahmoud, a young Muslim man from Syria who struggled with loneliness in his life, attended an NLM concert in the ancient city of Antioch. After the show, he received prayer from a NLM team member and felt the power of Jesus so strongly that he was radically transformed. “I felt like I was flying”, said Mahmoud later, “I’m so excited to go back to my country and tell people that Jesus is God.”
